LODGING POLICIES

The Tradewinds in Seaside is an exclusive property where every Guest reservation is both important and special to us. Reservations are only guaranteed with an advance payment equal to your 1st night's stay. If your travel plans change and you must cancel or modify your reservation, please contact the office at least 5 days full days prior to your arrival date in order to avoid forfeiting your deposit, unless the reservation is booked with a 'Non-Refundable' rate in which case refunds and/or changes are not allowed under any circumstances.  Group reservations (2+ units) and all reservations booked for Special Events & Holidays require 30 days notice to receive any deposit refunds or date changes.  Any changes to existing reservations at Management discretion will be 'locked' and no subsequent changes or refunds are allowed.  Please note that all 'Non-Refundable' rates do not allow changes or refunds for any reason.
Rates/policies/fees/taxes are subject to change without notice.  All reservations with any type of 'Discount' or 'Special' must be booked directly through the Tradewinds office or website, and must be requested at the initial time of booking.  Reservation balances are due and payable upon check-in. Refunds are not allowed for early departures. No Shows will be charged the full amount of their stay, as will Guests who cancel their booking within 24 hours of their original check in date & time (3pm).  Non-refundable rates are prepaid and are not refundable or changeable under any circumstance.

Check-in: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM.  If arriving outside of check-in times, please contact the office ahead of time to make arrangements.


Check-out: No later than 11:00 AM. Please return your keys to the Office. After 12 noon, additional charges will apply.

OCCUPANCY
All rates are double occupancy- additional persons (including children over 2 yrs of age) if allowed will be charged at the rate of $8.00 per person per night. Failure to disclose the true number of occupants will result in expulsion from the Tradewinds without a refund.

SMOKING/CLEANLINESS


Absolutely No Smoking of any substance is allowed inside any unit or within 10' of any door; designated outdoor smoking areas are available. Smoking of any substance in a unit will result in a $250 cleaning fee being charged to the credit/debit card on file.


Please wash, dry, and put away all kitchenware used. Any dirty dishes left at checkout will result in a $50.00 cleaning fee charged to your credit card.

SAFETY


Please bring any hazardous item or situation to the attention of Management as soon as possible.
Any Guest (including their pets) who negligently or intentionally causes damage to the Hotel or any furniture or furnishings within the Hotel, shall be liable and charged for damages, including the Hotel's loss of revenue resulting from the inability to rent or lease rooms while the damage is being repaired.
Tradewinds Management reserves the right to refuse service to any person or persons whom Management believes may cause (or has caused) any nuisance on the property, or presents any potential or real threat to the personal well being or property of any Guest or Staff member.
Please do not burn candles in the unit due to the potential fire threat they pose.

PETS


Pets are allowed in designated units only, must be declared and Pet Fees paid upon check in- $20 for one pet the 1st night, $30 for two pets, additional nights are $10 and $15 respectively. Please do not leave your pets unattended in the unit or in your vehicle onsite at any time. City leash laws must be obeyed, including on the property.

GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift certificates must be presented at check-in along with a valid driver's license. Any remaining balance on gift certificates must be used at a later day up to the expiration date. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash.

PARKING
Overnight Guest parking is complimentary on site, 1 vehicle per unit rented is allowed. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense.

LOST & FOUND POLICY
The Tradewinds is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal items.  Should any Guest lose personal belongings while staying at the Tradewinds, if recovered, the items will be kept in a secure location for 30 days, and every reasonable attempt will be made to contact said Guest.  We will ship any requested found item back to the Guest, which may be at their expense.  Any items not claimed after 30 days may be donated to charity or disposed of.

WIFI & INTERNET USAGE
All Guests agree to abide by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and specifically agree to not utilize or attempt to access any type of 'file sharing' site. Any violators will be turned over to the appropriate authorities for Prosecution.
